The Trooper ACAP (Advanced Carrier Armor Patrol) accommodates common hard armor rifle plate sizes and can be outfitted with cummerbund soft armor inserts and deltoid soft armor attachment for added protection. The ExplorerSCOPE™ Cargo Container Inspection Kit is a complete kit to gain access to and then visually inspect cargo containers for contraband and other threats. Designed for maximum portability, the ExplorerSCOPE is battery powered, four-way articulated (up, down, left, right) and combines a powerful internal laser light source coupled with electronically-enhanced low light video processing hardware along with a high resolution video monocular. It can generate images of objects and individuals that are 40 feet (12m) away - in pitch darkness -without the need for any other components! <br><br>
The ExplorerSCOPE's small 9mm diameter allows the user to make a complete visual assessment through one of two holes placed in a stainless steel wedge inserted between the container doors. The other access hole can be used if an additional light source is desired. The kit also includes a mallet to pound the wedge into place, an insertion rod to ensure that scope access holes are unobstructed, a pry bar to aid in the removal of the wedge, rechargeable batteries and transport case.

DESCRIPTION: Lanes LTX prepares first responders and investigators to implement risk-based response tactics to safely respond to incidents involving modern clandestine labs including chemical, explosive, biological, and poly drug. This instructor lead course is 70% hands-on training.

This class will cover the unique risks posted by modern clandestine labs through classroom lecture, class students, and hands-on training. Using multiple real-life scenarios and practical exercises, students will walk through several types of clandestine labs, identifying types of production methods to include drug, explosive, and chem/bio. Students will the threat or threats, select the proper PPE as well as select the proper air monitoring devices, decontamination equipment and procedures to identify what other state or federal
agencies should be notified, and the next step for their response.

It will also cover the methodology used by tactical team leaders in determining a response and how to prepare for a response. As part of this course, students will participate in tabletop exercises and work through possible scenarios that arise, providing the patrol supervisor the tools needed to succeed during these events.

lecture, a hands-on section where the students are taught to successfully identify unknowns, and report out results.
