DESCRIPTION: Lanes LTX prepares first responders and investigators to implement risk-based response tactics to safely respond to incidents involving modern clandestine labs including chemical, explosive, biological, and poly drug. This instructor lead course is 70% hands-on training.

This class will cover the unique risks posted by modern clandestine labs through classroom lecture, class students, and hands-on training. Using multiple real-life scenarios and practical exercises, students will walk through several types of clandestine labs, identifying types of production methods to include drug, explosive, and chem/bio. Students will the threat or threats, select the proper PPE as well as select the proper air monitoring devices, decontamination equipment and procedures to identify what other state or federal
agencies should be notified, and the next step for their response.
