Nighthawk-BTX Handheld X-Ray Backscatter Imaging System

The NightHawk BTX is a rugged, handheld X-ray backscatter imager utilizing a 140 KeV X-ray source that enables users to quickly and cost-effectively find concealed narcotics; cash, fraudulent payment cards, and other monetary instruments; bulk explosives; and other contraband through automotive body panels, upholstery, drywall, and a wide variety of other materials.

The NightHawk BTX offers several upgrades from the original Nighthawk including improved penetration and resolution up to 8mm, Pb trap detection using XRF technology, and a Broadwing-DTX slimline bar attachment that fits places where panels won't and allows for deeper penentration through up to 20mm of steel. Accessories such as a tactical backpack, sunshield, spare battery pack, and 2, 4, and 6-bay chargers are also available.
